Karen Thompson founded Wishes for Women in 2008. Inspired by her pursuit of the world’s softest pajamas, she realized the power of writing down hopes and goals.
The initial offering from the collection was the Wish Pocket Pajama, appealing to women of all ages and lifestyles with the simple luxury of a super soft pajama that is made from eco-friendly materials. Each pajama comes with a Wish Card, encouraging women to define their aspirations by committing them to paper.
The newest offering from the Wishes for Women line is the Wish Wrap, a plush one-size-fits-all wrap that is luxuriously soft and great for everything from sporting events to curling up on the couch at home. This year, the wrap is offered in a rainbow of colors, including the signature colors of your favorite schools and sports teams.
Wishes for Women donates a percentage of the profits from the sale of their signature items to charitable organizations granting wishes for women 365 days a year. Individuals can also submit a request to have a wish granted for a friend or family member. The goal of the organization is to empower women by inspiring them with the power of their own wishes.
Since July 2008, Wishes for Women has contributed to many charitable causes, including The Salvation Army, Doylestown Hospital, Relay for Life, March of Dimes, Bucks County Women’s Fund, Family Services of Bucks County, American Cancer Society, Habitat for Humanity, Breast Cancer 3-Day Walk, and many more.
